What To Expect

This Summer

Over the months of June and July 2026, the IT team will be executing Phase 1 of a major, multi-phase, multi-year project to replace our aging and fragile network core.

Because our current network lacks historical documentation, we are taking a cautious approach to implementation. Our main goal is to complete our work with minimal disruption to your daily routine.

Here is a look at what you should expect, how we are protecting your day-to-day operations, and what we ask from you.

How You Can Help

To help us navigate this project effectively and on schedule, we ask all staff to observe a few guidelines:

Save and Shutdown - Please save all active work and completely shut down your desktop computers and network-connected devices before leaving campus each evening.
Respect the Time Windows - If you are on campus after 9:00 PM and experience an outage, please do not attempt to troubleshoot local network equipment. The IT team is actively working behind the scenes and will have all primary systems restored by 7:00 AM.
Anticipate Unexpected Delays - Due to the undocumented nature and fragility of our network, unexpected technical complications may occasionally cause morning restoration times to run past 7:00 AM. If systems are still offline when you arrive for the workday, please contact us (see Contact Support page).
